Concept
The five precepts (Panca Sila) are the basic training rule of life for everyone, and it is encouraged that every individual practices these core values to the best of their ability to improve not only their own quality of life, but of those around them.
However, the degree and complexity for adherence to the five precepts vary according to the interpretations of every individual or of the culture we live in, creating little disputes with regards to the practice of the five precepts, as people pry into the exceptions that challenges or bends the principle of the five precepts.
Thus rather than focusing on the restraints conveyed by the five precepts, this camp will instead concentrate on providing a positive focus for the participants to reflect upon. Utilizing elements from the five ennobling virtues (Panca Charita), participants can derive the core values which will challenge and guide them in their personal growth and practices in daily life.
